2009 will not be a great economic year for the sailing industry. After 15 years of constant progression, the profession sees its turnover moving backwards. Incidences sail makers are not unaffected, but thanks to you, we have seen little slow down and even some progression at certain sites.
Lorient becomes a strong base for Incidences. 2009 is a Great nautical year for Incidences. With Michel Desjoyeaux, we won the Vendée Globe, and placed five boats in the five first. With Pascal Bidégorry and his crew, on the trimaran Banque Populaire 5 we beat the North Atlantic record with 32.94 knots average speed.

With you all, yachtsmen, racing sailors we have crossed all the seas of the world. 2010 and 2011 In spite of this air pocket in the economy and bolsted by our sporting and technical successes, we will continue to progress, maintain our often friendly relations, based on respect and mutual confidence. Fidelity, technical honesty, respecting commitments and promises, it is on these bases that we developed the Incidences label and created a solid and reliable group, equipped to get through the crises and prepared to face the future. No change of course in sight!
