The 2nd Leg for Michel Desjoyeaux

After 344 miles in 1 day, 16 hours, 53 minutes and 05 secondes, Michel Desjoyeaux arrived first in the second leg of the ’la Solitaire’, his sixth leg victory since he began taking part in this race in 1990.A well earned victory after two sleepless nights! Gildas Mahé takes third place behind Frédéric Duthil who maintanins his position in the overall results. Michel Desjoyeaux arrives second at the end of this leg, Nicolas Béranger 3rd. Gildas Mahé moves up from 6th to 5th place and Thierry habagny maintains his 4th position. « We now know who we have to deal with » comments the skipper of Foncia getting ready to race the 762 miles of the 3rd leg to La Corogne.
